Speech and Language Therapist
Marianne qualified with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of East Anglia.
She works primarily with children and young adolescents with learning disabilities and/or who are neurodivergent across schools and colleges.
Marianne delivers therapy using individual, small group, and whole class approaches, and provides training and support to education staff and other professionals to build inclusive, communication-friendly environments. She believes that tailored therapy and collaborative relationships with families and settings is key to achieving meaningful outcomes.
Marianne has completed numerous post-graduate training courses in line with her caseload. This includes the Down Syndrome Education International course Improving Speech and Language Development for Children and Young People with Down Syndrome, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Gestalt Language Processing (GLP). She draws on this specialist knowledge to support a diverse range of individuals in a flexible, person-centred way.
