Welcome to our Speech & Language Resources & Support Hub

We’ve brought together trusted charities, NHS services, professional organisations and local Norfolk support to help children, young people and adults with speech, language, communication and voice needs. Whether you’re looking for information on autism, ADHD, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), selective mutism, stammering, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, brain injury or other communication needs, you’ll find reliable resources to support you, your family or your organisation.

To make finding support easier, we’ve organised our recommendations into four sections:

  • Children & Young People
  • Adults
  • Norfolk Local Support
  • Professional Resources

Please note: Many communication needs and neurological conditions span all stages of life. Several organisations featured in the Children & Young People section, including STAMMA, SMiRA, Communication Matters, ACE Centre, the National Autistic Society and ADHD UK, also provide excellent support for teenagers and adults. Likewise, some organisations in the Adults section offer valuable information for parents, carers and professionals supporting children. If you’re unsure where to start, we recommend exploring both sections.
