Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Becka is a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist who qualified from the University of East Anglia in 2016. With a strong passion for working with older children and adolescents, Becka specialises in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Selective Mutism, and Learning Difficulties.
Becka has extensive experience supporting children and adolescents with ASD, ADHD, Selective Mutism, and Learning Difficulties. She has previously worked in both early-years settings and health care support, making her a versatile professional in various therapeutic environments.
Currently, Becka manages the College Service and is an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) champion, advocating for the effective use of communication aids to support those with complex communication needs.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Becka holds qualifications in Makaton (Level 4) and British Sign Language (BSL, Level 1), utilising both signing systems both socially and in her professional practice to enhance communication for individuals with diverse needs.
