Speech and Language Therapist
Charlotte qualified at the University of East Anglia having previously worked for several charities in London.
Charlotte was inspired to retrain as a Speech and Language Therapist by her daughter Chloe, who has a diagnosis of Down syndrome. Chloe has benefited from regular Speech and Language Therapy from an early age and Charlotte enjoys attending therapy sessions with Chloe and carrying out activities at home to support the development of her communication skills.
Charlotte predominantly works with preschool and primary aged children and has experience of working with children with delayed and disordered speech, language difficulties, learning disabilities, autism and selective mutism. She believes in the importance of developing supportive, collaborative relationships with families and education settings.
Charlotte undertakes continuing professional development (CPD) and attends regular training.
