Investing in Expertise to Support Families Across Norfolk

We’re delighted to celebrate more professional development achievements within the ISLTS team as we continue to invest in specialist training and the highest standards of care for the children, young people and adults we support.
Congratulations to Becka Pitts, who has successfully completed ADOS-2 training and is now fully trained in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2). The ADOS-2 is one of the gold-standard assessment tools used as part of comprehensive autism assessments and plays an important role in helping clinicians build a detailed understanding of an individual’s communication, social interaction and behaviour.
We would also like to congratulate Harvey Fuller, Helen Magee and Marianne Hadridge, who recently completed their updated Adult Safeguarding Training. As part of our commitment to best practice, all ISLTS staff complete both adult and child safeguarding training every three years, ensuring our team remains up to date with the latest guidance and continues to provide safe, effective and person-centred support.
We’re incredibly proud of our team’s ongoing commitment to developing their knowledge and expertise, helping us provide the very best support to individuals, families, schools and organisations across Norfolk and beyond.
ISLTS Team Takes on Race Across Norfolk for Thrive Autism

This September, two members of the ISLTS team, Lorna and Liesl, will be taking part in Race Across Norfolk 2026, a two-day charity challenge inspired by the BBC’s Race Across the World.
Using only an Ordnance Survey map, a basic mobile phone and a £50 budget, teams must navigate across Norfolk, complete challenges and reach secret checkpoints along the way.
Lorna and Liesl are aiming to raise £1,000 for Thrive Autism, a local charity supporting autistic children, young people and their families across Norfolk and Waveney. The charity also has an ambitious vision to create Norfolk’s first dedicated Autism Centre.
As a team that has supported autistic children, adults and families for more than 30 years, ISLTS is proud to support Thrive Autism and the vital work they do in our community.

Celebrating Professional Development at ISLTS

We’re celebrating two fantastic professional achievements within the ISLTS team. Congratulations to Helen Magee on achieving 100% in her PACT (Paediatric Autism Communication Therapy) accreditation, and to Harvey Fuller on completing specialist training in improving speech and language development for children and young people with Down syndrome. These achievements further strengthen our team’s expertise and commitment to providing the highest quality support for children, young people and families across Norfolk.
